Darwinism
This alphabet was based on the revision of Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species but especially on the opera Tomorrow in a Year, composed by the Swedish electropop duo The Knife and inspired by the work of the English naturalist.
The images are based on a series of photographs where an action figure uses a series of paper masks with letter shapes, a series of patterns and textures inspired by nature were created: leaves, skins, coats and trunks were reviewed and abstracted to illustrate a specific species for each letter of the Western alphabet.
